Terms of Service (General Conditions)

Vara & Co. (“we”, “our” or “the Company”) operates an online store through the domain https://varaand.co/ where we make premium bags and accessories, manufactured by the same factories that produce for well‑known brands such as JWPEI, Songmont and Polène, available at accessible prices https://varaand.co/ . These terms define how customers in Sweden and the EU may purchase our products. We comply with Swedish consumer law, the Distance Contracts and Off‑Premises Contracts Act, the Consumer Sales Act and the E‑Commerce Act, which oblige traders to provide clear information and fair terms.

  1. Company and Contact Information – Before placing an order, customers must be able to identify us. Under Swedish distance selling rules, we must disclose our legal name, postal address, e‑mail address, telephone number, and our business registration number. These details appear on our “Contact” page and in your order confirmation.

  2. Formation of the Contract – By completing the checkout process on our website you enter a binding purchase agreement. We provide a summary of your cart, shipping charges and taxes before you confirm the order. The E‑Commerce Act requires us to offer technical aids so that you can detect and correct input errors before placing your order; please review your details carefully.

  3. Order Confirmation – Once an order is placed we send an automatic confirmation e‑mail with the order number, items ordered and total price. The confirmation does not indicate acceptance of your order but acknowledges receipt. A binding contract is formed when we dispatch your goods.

  4. Pricing and Taxes – All prices are shown in SEK and include Swedish VAT. Because we act as a distributor and source directly from manufacturer factories, we can offer luxury quality without the “luxury tax” https://varaand.co/ . We reserve the right to change prices and correct obvious errors.

  5. Payment Methods – We accept major credit/debit cards, Klarna (Pay Now, Pay Later and Slice It), and other secure payment providers. Payment is processed when the order is placed. If payment is not authorised we may cancel the order.

  6. Delivery and Risk Transfer – We ship to Sweden and most EU countries. Your purchase should be delivered within 30 days of ordering unless we agree otherwise; if delivery is not made within the agreed time, you may cancel the order and claim a refund. Risk passes to you upon delivery.

  7. Right of Withdrawal (Returns) – Consumers who buy goods online have a statutory 14‑day right of withdrawal from the day after they receive the goods. The product may be examined but must be unused and returned in its original packaging. We may deduct compensation for any decrease in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to ascertain the product’s nature and function. See “Returns & Withdrawal Policy” for details.

  8. Complaints and Warranty – Under the Consumer Sales Act you have up to three years to complain about original defects in goods. The legal guarantee in Sweden is three years; within the first 12 months we must prove the defect did not exist at purchase. See “Warranty & Complaints” for our procedure.

  9. Limitation of Liability – To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (including loss of income or data). Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under Swedish or EU law.

  10. Changes to the Terms – We may amend these terms to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements. Updated terms will be published on our website and apply to future purchases.
